The antioxidant activities of pueraria glycoside (PG)-1 (isoflavonoid) and mangiferin (xanthonoid) were studied and compared with PG-3 and daidzein (isoflavonoids) and with wogonin (flavonoid). PG-1 and mangiferin rapidly scavenged 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical, and inhibited lipid peroxidation which was initiated enzymatically by reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) or non-enzymatically by ascorbic acid or Fenton's reagent (H2O2 + Fe2+) in rat liver microsomes. Wogonin inhibited the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation but had no scavenging effect on DPPH radical or on the non-enzymatic peroxidation. PG-3 and daidzein did not show any of these effects. Formation of Fe2+ by NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase was inhibited by wogonin, but not by PG-1 or mangiferin. PG-1 and mangiferin had no effect on terminating radical chain reaction during the lipid peroxidation in the enzymatic system of microsomes or in the linoleic acid hydroperoxide-induced peroxidation system. These results suggest that PG-1 and mangiferin have an antioxidant activity, probably due to their ability to scavenge free radicals involved in initiation of lipid peroxidation. In contrast, wogonin may affect NADPH-dependent cytochrome P-450 reductase action, since it inhibited only the enzymatically induced lipid peroxidation.  相似文献

We have investigated the aggregation phenomena in a polydisperse colloidal dispersion composed of ferromagnetic particles by means of the cluster-moving Monte Carlo method. The results have been compared with those for a monodisperse system. The internal structures of aggregates have been analyzed in terms of the radial distribution function in order to clarify the quantitative differences in the internal structures of clusters. In addition, the cluster size distribution and angular distribution function have been investigated. The results obtained in the present study are summarized as follows. In a monodisperse system, open necklacelike clusters are formed and they extend with increasing strength of the magnetic particle-particle interaction. In a polydisperse system with a small standard deviation in the particle size distribution, sigma=0.2, larger necklacelike clusters are formed and some looplike clusters can also be observed. In a polydisperse system with a larger standard deviation, sigma=0.35, clumplike clusters are formed for a weak magnetic particle-particle interaction. For a stronger magnetic interaction, larger size clusters that exhibit a complicated network structure are formed. These complicated cluster formations found in a polydisperse system are mainly due to the effect of the presence of larger particles.  相似文献

Fluorescence and spectral hole burning properties of Eu3+ ions were studied in nanocrystals-precipitated SnO2-SiO2 glasses. The glasses were prepared to contain various amount of Eu2O3 using the sol-gel method, in which SnO2 nanocrystals were precipitated by heating in air. In the glasses containing Eu2O3 less than 1%, the Eu3+ ions were preferentially doped in the SnO2 nanocrystals and their fluorescence intensities were enhanced by the energy transfer due to the recombination of electrons and holes excited in SnO2 crystals. The SnO2 nanocrystals-precipitated glasses exhibited the persistent spectral holes with the depth of ∼25% of the total fluorescence intensities of the Eu3+ ions. With the increasing Eu2O3 concentration, the amount of SnO2 nanocrystals decreased and the Sn4+ ions formed the random glass structure together with the silica network. This structure change induced the fluorescence intensities and the hole depth to decrease.  相似文献

N-Aminophenanthridinium salt reacted with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in the presence of potassium carbonate to give a 3,3a-dihydropyrazolo[1,5-f]phenanthridine but with mono-substituted acetylenes (ethyl propiolate and benzoylacetylene) it produced aromatized pyrazolo-[1,5-f]phenanthridines (XII and XIII). The reaction of the N-benzoylimine with di-substituted acetylenes (dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and methyl phenylpropiolate) and mono-substituted acetylenes (ethyl propiolate and benzoylacetylene) yielded 1,3a-dihydropyrazolo[1,5-f]phenanthridines and the aromatized products (XII and XIII), respectively.  相似文献

The molecular structure of 3-methylthiophene

has been determined by gas electron diffraction (GED) combined with microwave (MW) spectroscopic data. Ab initio calculations at the HF/3–21G* level were carried out and used as structural constraints in the data analysis. The torsional vibration of the methyl group was treated as a large-amplitude motion. The structural parameters were determined to be: rg(S---C2) = 1.719(2) Å, rg(C2=C3) = 1.370(3) Å, rg(C3---C6) = 1.497(6) Å, rg(C2---H) = 1.101(5) Å, CSC = 91.6(2)°, SC2C3 = 113.3(5)°, SC5C4 = 111.3(3)°, C2C3C6 = 123.2(11)° and C3C6H = 112(2)°. The values of r(S---C2) − r(S---C5) and r(C2=C3) − r(C4=C5) were fixed at the 3–21G* value of 0.002Å. Parenthesized values are the estimated limits of error (3σ) referring to the last significant digit.  相似文献

A convenient, efficient and stereoselective synthesis of a range of bis(alk-3-en-1-ynyl)benzenes with E- and Z-configuration is described. The protocol involves Cu-mediated cross-coupling reaction of (E)- and (Z)-alk-1-enyldisiamylboranes with (trimethylsilyl)ethynyl bromide and Pd/Cu-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction with diiodobenzene. The sequential cross-coupling reaction proceeds readily under extremely mild conditions in a one-pot manner to afford bis(alk-3-en-1-ynyl)benzenes in good to excellent yields. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of cancer repression gene p53 were analyzed electrochemically with ferrocenyl naphthalene diimide (1) as a hybridization indicator. The SNPs studied were the transition to A from G in the codon for amino acid at positions 175, 248 or 273 and the transversion to C from G in the codon for the amino acid at position 72. Thus, 20-meric oligonucleotides carrying the SNP site were used both as a sample and a probe with the latter immobilized on an electrode. Even one base difference on the p53 gene resulted in a significant difference in the current response of 1 and the magnitude of the response correlated with the amount of the DNA hybrid on the electrode. Moreover, when PCR products of exon 4, on which the P72/R72 SNP resides, of the p53 gene were analyzed by this method, the heterozygote and homozygotes were discriminated with modest precision.  相似文献
